Cap Martin Sunset

Cappellini

For the Cap Martin Sunset sofas, an extremely versatile seating system characterized by clean essential lines, Carlo Colombo found his inspiration in the elegantly vintage atmospheres of the 1950’s.

The elegance of the sofas is emphasized by the arm rests, trimmed with double stitching and gros-grain and equipped with concealed zippers. The loose pillows, with detachable covers in leather and fabric, give the collection a hint of relaxed informality which is also reflected in the slender tubular metal structure, studied to make the seats appear extremely light.

The Cap Martin Sunset can be arranged into numerous layouts, thanks to the different modules available: two and three-seaters, central and end units, chaise longue, a corner element and pouf.

Cappellini: Italian Designer Furniture in Sarasota

Cappellini was founded in 1946 by Enrico Cappellini in the Italian Brianza region, north of Milan. Cappellini began as a furniture maker specializing in wooden furniture and case goods. After Enrico’s son Giulio joined the company, bringing a passion for art & design, Cappellini experienced a creative evolution that has placed them at the forefront in the world of design and furnishings.
Cappellini’s collections are known for tapping new trends and far-flung talents; often described as a 'tutti-frutti' affair, with minimalism offered up alongside pop fashion, technology, and amoebic forms. Cappellini is proud to have 18 pieces included in the permanent Design Collection at the Museum of Modern Art.
