From the small Peg armchair, presented in April 2013, comes a series of Italian beds with an upholstered headboard with a modern and elastic look. Peg bed keeps the characteristic curves of the Peg family, in this case for the headboard and legs in turned solid ash wood (bleached stained walnut, wenge or ebony). Peg bed can be upholstered in fabric or leather.
Cappellini was founded in 1946 by Enrico Cappellini in the Italian Brianza region, north of Milan. Cappellini began as a furniture maker specializing in wooden furniture and case goods. After Enrico’s son Giulio joined the company, bringing a passion for art & design, Cappellini experienced a creative evolution that has placed them at the forefront in the world of design and furnishings.
Cappellini’s collections are known for tapping new trends and far-flung talents; often described as a 'tutti-frutti' affair, with minimalism offered up alongside pop fashion, technology, and amoebic forms. Cappellini is proud to have 18 pieces included in the permanent Design Collection at the Museum of Modern Art.
