LEPLI OUTDOOR POUF

Poltrona Frau

An outdoor pouf with curved and sculptural lines, characterized by a sophisticated intertwining of polypropylene strings on the aluminum rod structure. Designer Kensaku Oshiro has redesigned the indoor seating collection of the same name for outdoor spaces, starting from the material, which is durable and suitable for outdoor use. The hand-woven string motif is taken from the Sparkler series of outdoor lamps, characterized by the play of transparencies and ever-changing chiaroscuro effects. Then there is the generously sized pouf, in which the gradient weave varies the density of the mesh along the profile, until it thickens on the seating surface. This conceals the elastic belt springs, revealing unexpected softness and comfort. The pouf is available in three color combinations that match the color of the rope and the structure. A color palette designed to match all the Poltrona Frau Boundless Living Outdoor Collections. And to furnish gardens, terraces, verandas, patios, rooftops, terraces and even the decks of yachts and ships with elegance and quality.

Poltrona Frau -

Poltrona Frau

Poltrona Frau is a furniture-maker founded in 1912 by Sardinian-born Renzo Frau in Turin, Italy, headquartered since the early 1960s in Tolentino, Italy and specializing in leather seating for interior and automotive applications. The company name combines the Italian word for armchair, "Poltrona" and "Frau, the last name of its founder.

Noted for their exhaustive quality standards, the company uses a 21-step leather tanning process where the full-grain leather is dyed through, so a surface scratch won’t reveal a lining underneath. 95% of the company's products are made by hand.

In 2004, Poltrona Frau acquired noted Italian furniture company Cappellini, and the Poltrona Frau Group now includes brands Poltrona Frau, Cappellini, Cassina, Alias, Nemo Lighting, Ceramica Flaminia and Fish Design
