Designer Geoffrey D. Harcourt RDI distinguished himself with this series swivel chairs by the comfort form and striking upholstery. The idea of the F500 armchair originate because the girlfriend of Harcourt RDI like to curl up in cross-leggs. He was fascinated by this very female attitude. The result is the F500 series: an armchair with all comfort of an easy chair, and wide enough to suit an unusual seating position.

These comfortable F 500 shells on a metal base are pleasantly futuristic but, at the same time, nostalgic.

The F584, F585 and F586 stand out because of the stitched flat trim that is beautifully visible over the entire contour of the upholstered shell. A swivel armchair to curl up in and enjoy. Like the other variants from the 500 series, this armchair is available with a high and low shell and a choice of a disc base, a cross base or a rocker base.
