WANDERS' TULIP ARMCHAIR

WANDERS’ TULIP ARMCHAIR
A sculptural presence makes the Wanders' Tulip Armchair, by Marcel Wanders, an exceptional protagonist in any setting: ideal in spacious areas, both contract and private, thanks to the eye-catching elongated blossom shape and upbeat, cheerful appeal.

A re-visitation of the classic armchair, with elongated oversized proportions, Wanders' Tulip Armchair has a shell made of fiberglass and resin; padded with soft and firm polyurethane foam; the fixed cover is available in a vast array of fabrics and leathers. The calyx shape of the armchair evokes the silhouette of a flower resting on a brilliant swiveling metal base, varnished with natural aluminium.

The Wanders’ Tulip Armchair has obtained Greenguard Gold Certification: a standard that guarantees maximum control of emissions for products designed with the greatest attention to health and wellness.

Cappellini

Cappellini was founded in 1946 by Enrico Cappellini in the Italian Brianza region, north of Milan. Cappellini began as a furniture maker specializing in wooden furniture and case goods. After Enrico’s son Giulio joined the company, bringing a passion for art & design, Cappellini experienced a creative evolution that has placed them at the forefront in the world of design and furnishings.
Cappellini’s collections are known for tapping new trends and far-flung talents; often described as a 'tutti-frutti' affair, with minimalism offered up alongside pop fashion, technology, and amoebic forms. Cappellini is proud to have 18 pieces included in the permanent Design Collection at the Museum of Modern Art.
