Tate Color Stool

Cappellini

More than 20 years since the original version, this family of seats designed by Jasper Morrision now welcomes the Tate Color family among the options which mark a profound revision of the look and finishes of one of Cappellini’s best sellers.

Tate Color comes in an array of stackable chairs and stools of two different heights, with a high or low backrest, and is made of aniline-stained ash plywood, in white, mud, anthracite, pumpkin, brick, grass green, petrol, and Prussian blue.

The base of the Tate Color stool is available in two different options: four legs with a satined stainless steel finish or matte satined lacquer in the shades of white, mud, black pumpkin, brick, grass green, petrol and Prussian blue; with a sled base, in satined stainless steel or matte varnished in white, black or mud.

Cappellini: Italian Designer Furniture in Sarasota

Cappellini was founded in 1946 by Enrico Cappellini in the Italian Brianza region, north of Milan. Cappellini began as a furniture maker specializing in wooden furniture and case goods. After Enrico’s son Giulio joined the company, bringing a passion for art & design, Cappellini experienced a creative evolution that has placed them at the forefront in the world of design and furnishings.
Cappellini’s collections are known for tapping new trends and far-flung talents; often described as a 'tutti-frutti' affair, with minimalism offered up alongside pop fashion, technology, and amoebic forms. Cappellini is proud to have 18 pieces included in the permanent Design Collection at the Museum of Modern Art.
