The SUNSET rug, hand-knotted in virgin wool, transfers Alejandra Gandía-Blasco's study of light and its materiality to a design object. With SUNSET, the interdisciplinary creative takes a further step in her exploration of making the intangible tangible, which began with a photographic series in which she portrays sunrises and sunsets as abstract elements that allow her to explore light and colour.
