Archibald, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, is a wide and deep armchair with a steel structure, padded with molded polyurethane foam and polyester wadding for greater comfort. It is distinguished by the pleasantly textured leather upholstery and the folded armrests that resemble a shirt collar. Thanks to a process of digital printing on the leather, usually reserved for small luxury leather goods, Felipe Pantone's artwork gives the upholstery a nuanced palette of reds, oranges, yellows, whites and blues reminiscent of the hot and cold temperatures of a heat map. The upholstery is in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® Impact Less, the innovative leather tanned with sustainable components and without the use of chrome for a reduced environmental impact.
To emphasize the chromatic vibe of the surface, the base, characterized by four die-cast aluminum feet and a steel frame, has a multicolor chrome finish: a special iridescent paint treatment in colors and light, which gives a brilliant purplish-blue shade. A brass plaque, in the same finish as the base, bears the artist's signature and the words “ONE OF 110”. In addition, every Archibald Limited Anniversary Edition comes with a specific cleaning kit and an exclusive clutch, made in the same multicolored leather as the upholstery and containing the certificate of authenticity of the product signed by the artist.
To celebrate this special collaboration, Archibald Limited Anniversary Edition is also available in a miniature size, still upholstered in the same Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® Impact Less leather and made with the same care and attention to detail as the original version.

Poltrona Frau is a furniture-maker founded in 1912 by Sardinian-born Renzo Frau in Turin, Italy, headquartered since the early 1960s in Tolentino, Italy and specializing in leather seating for interior and automotive applications. The company name combines the Italian word for armchair, "Poltrona" and "Frau, the last name of its founder.
Noted for their exhaustive quality standards, the company uses a 21-step leather tanning process where the full-grain leather is dyed through, so a surface scratch won’t reveal a lining underneath. 95% of the company's products are made by hand.
In 2004, Poltrona Frau acquired noted Italian furniture company Cappellini, and the Poltrona Frau Group now includes brands Poltrona Frau, Cappellini, Cassina, Alias, Nemo Lighting, Ceramica Flaminia and Fish Design
